The British film, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel attracts an audience who are into culture. It attracts an audience with an interest in Indian culture as it shows a lot in the film, showing the audience the amazing spectacle of India. It also attracts people who enjoy comedy, as there are light hearted humorous quotes throughout the film which is what some people look for in a film, one that satisfies the audience’s comedy and cultural needs. It is also a bit of a love story, so it targets all those hopelessly romantic people out there that look for love stories in a movie. It also attracts the older generation of audience as it has some very well known actors and actresses in it that they would know, this draws them in and makes them connect to the film, especially as the film is about older people and so they can relate to the characters.  I think that this film will attract and address the older generation because they will have a connection with the film as they may be feeling the same way as the characters or have gone through the same events as the characters, making an emotional connection.

The Kings Speech immediately attracts a nationwide UK audience as it is about The British royalty and brings out a patriotic feeling. It also attracts and addresses those who are interesting in the British Monarchy from the past as it shows a more in-depth and detailed view on Royalty, and especially on King George VI, whether they are British or not. It also addresses an audience who have a stammer or speech problems because the audience emotionally connects to the film. It attracts and addresses those who like the actors or actresses in the film, as most of them are very well known, especially to an older audience.

The Woman in Black is a film that definitely attracts an audience who like to be scared or like the adrenaline when watching a horror movie. It attracts an audience who like horror and suspense and because it promises to scare people with its creepy and mysterious story line  The setting really attracts an audience who want to be scared because it is set in an old, big, creepy and haunted mansion which is definitely one of the main reasons why people are attracted to the film. The music in the film is also a massive contribution to attracting an audience because it makes the movie even more scary and mysterious, creating the suspense and horror. Particular actors/actresses attract an audience, especially people who knew Daniel Radcliffe from Harry Potter, because they know him to be an innocent, little boy and so they want to know what he is like in this film where his character is a lot older and the film is a completely different genre.
